Maxime Chanot (80') and Alexander Callens (85') each scored once as New York City came from behind to upend the visiting Philadelphia Union 2-1.
At Kansas City, Kansas:
Ike Opara (45'+2), Jimmy Medranda (54'), and Saad Abdul-Salaam (87;) each scored a goal as Sporting Kansas City dominated visiting Minnesota United 3-0.
At Vancouver, British Columbia:
Kendall Waston scored twice (31', 44') as the Vancouver Whitecaps downed visiting Atlanta United 3-1.
At Washington:
DC United and the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy battled to a 0-0 stalemate. DC's Bill Hamid made six saves while the Angelinos' Jon Kemplin have five as both goalkeepers posted shutouts.
At Foxborough, Massachusetts:
Benjamin Angoua (17'), Diego Fagundez (66'), and Juan Agudelo (85') each produced a goal as the New England Revolution dominated visiting (and shorthanded) Toronto FC 3-0.
At Montreal:
Blerim Dzemaili scored the only goal of the Montreal Impact's 1-0 home win over the New York Red Bulls in the 67th minute. It was his first career MLS tally.
At Frisco, Texas:
Roland Lamah produced a natural first-half hat trick (8', 22', 31') as FC Dallas demolished visiting Real Salt Lake 6-2.
At Commerce City, Colorado:
Kevin Doyle (80') and Alan Gordon (86') each scored a goal in the waning minutes as the Colorado Rapids came from behind to overcome the visiting Columbus Crew 2-1.
