EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Atlanta:
Franco Escobar scored the winning goal in the 70th minute as Atlanta United defeated the visiting New England Revolution 1-0.
At Toronto:
Jonathan Osorio scored twice in overtime (95', 103') as Toronto FC, who scored an MLS Playoff-record four goals in the opening overtime period to knock out visiting DC United 5-1 in Wayne Rooney's swan song with the visitors.
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Seattle:
Jordan Morris produced only the fifth hat trick in MLS Cup Playoff history (22', 74', 113') as the Seattle Sounders upended visiting FC Dallas 4-3 in overtime.
At Sandy, Utah:
Jefferson Savarino scored the winning goal in the 87th minute as Real Salt Lake held off the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1.
