GUNNERS WIN FA CUP
At London:
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice (PK-26', 67') as Arsenal defeated London (and English Premier League) rivals Chelsea on Saturday to win the FA Cup Final.
The victory extended the Gunners' record for most FA Cup titles to 14 and locked up a berth in next season's Europa League group stage.
American Christian Pulisic scored for the Blues in the fifth before having to leave the game due to a hamstring injury.
Chelsea had already locked down a berth in the group stage of next season's UEFA Champions League.

After a 2-2 deadlock through 120 minutes in which each club scored once in regulation and once in overtime on Wednesday, Roberto Firmino, Fabio Henrique Tavares, Divock Origi, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Mohamed Salah all converted their spot kicks as Liverpool (last season's UEFA Champions League winners) defeated Chelsea (last season's Europa League titlists) 5-4 in the penalty-kick shootout and won this year's edition of the UEFA Super Cup in an all-English affair in the Turkish capital.

With Arsenal having already clinched a berth in the group stage of next season's Europa League due to their fifth-place finish in the recently-concluded English Premier League season, Everton---the highest-finishing club who hadn't qualified for Europe---will enter the Europa League through the third round of qualifying.

Javi Martinez delivered the equalizer in the 120th minute as Bayern Munich forced a 2-2 draw with Chelsea in Friday's UEFA Super Cup contest(the contest was deadlocked at 1-1 after regulation), then won the penalty-kick shootout 5-4 as David Alaba, Toni Kroos, Philipp Lamm, Franck Ribery (who scored in the 47th minute of regulation), and Xherdan Shaqiri all converted their spot kicks. After Thomas Muller's 83rd-minute header put Bayern Munich ahead 1-0 in Saturday's UEFA Champions League final at Alianz Arena, Chelsea's Didier Drogba headed in the equalizer in the 88th minute to force overtime. With the game deadlocked at 1-1, Arjen Robben's penalty kick in the 95th minute was saved by Blues goalkeeper Petr Cech. In the penalty-kick shootout, after David Luiz, Frank Lampard, and Ashley Cole made their spot kicks, after Bayern's Bastien Schweinsteiger's try hit the goalpost, it was Didier Drogba who netted the winning kick (shown here) that carried Chelsea to their first-ever Champions League crown (the first for a London-based club).
