Stanley Bounce Back From Two-Goal Deficit To Gain Road Draw With Troubled Pigrims
At Plymouth, England:
Despite playing with ten men, Accrington Stanley, with goals from Kevin Long (56') and Padraig Amond (67') Accrington Stanley came back from a two-goal deficit to gain a 2-2 road draw in English League Two action on Saturday with Plymouth Argyle. Simon Walton (PK-27') and Ladjie Soukouna (45') provided the scoring for the basement-occupying Pilgrims, who are staring at a their successive relegation and lift out of the Football League if things don't turn around soon enough.

Saints (For All Intents and Purposes) Back In League Championship; Pilgrims League-Two Bound

Richard Lambert scored twice (45', PK-59') as Southampton all but secured promotion to England's League Championship following their 3-1 road win over Plymouth Argyle in Monday English League One action. With one match remaining, the Saints have a vastly superior goal differential (+46 to +29) vis-a-viv third-place Huddersfield. The loss condemned the Pilgrims to their second successive relegation. They will be playing next season in League Two.
