The Blues won their fifth Italian Cup crown and their second in the last three years. Since they are currently in third place in Serie A with three game remaining and are on the cusp of clinching a berth in the playoff round for a UEFA Champions League group-stage berth, Napoli likely won't play in next season's Europa League group stage (unless they lose their Champions League playoff-round series), instead, defeated Fiorentina, currently sitting fourth, may play there in the Blues' stead.
