NAPOLI CAPTURE COPPA ITALIA TITLE

At Rome:

Lorenzo Insigne scored twice (11', 17') and Dries Mertens added an insurance tally in second-half stoppage time (90'+2) as Napoli defeated Fiorentina 3-1 on Saturday to win the Coppa Italia championship.  The Blues won their fifth Italian Cup crown and their second in the last three years.  Since they are currently in third place in Serie A with three game remaining and are on the cusp of clinching a berth in the playoff round for a UEFA Champions League group-stage berth, Napoli likely won't play in next season's Europa League group stage (unless they lose their Champions League playoff-round series), instead, defeated Fiorentina, currently sitting fourth, may play there in the Blues' stead.
