Emmanuel Cerda (36') and Lucas Lobos (77') each provided a goal on Sunday as Tigres blanked UNAM Pumas 2-0 on the road in Mexican Primera Division action as the visitors find themselves in third place in the Clausura standings, one point in back of Santos Laguna and Morelia.

Pumas Take Out Tigres In Mexican Catfight

At Mexico City:


Goals late in the contest from Israel Castro (88') and Juan Cacho (PK-90') lifted Pumas to a 2-0 home win over Tigres in a battle of two of the three group leaders in the Mexican Premiera Division.  UNAM (Pumas) currently leads Group Three while visiting UANL (Tigres) tops Group One.

Pumas Win Mexican Title

At Pachuca, Mexico:

Two goals from Christian Gimenez (PK-32', 78') for Pachuca in the regulation portion of match two of the two-match Mexican Clausura championship final at home to force overtime, but Pablo Barrera scored the series winner at 107 minutes to enable UNAM Pumas to claim the title 3-2 on aggregate.
