Barca And Inter Win Tickets To Knockout Stage

Heading into Wednesday, all four teams in Group F still had a shot at advancing to the UEFA Champions League's round of 16.

At Milan, Italy:

Inter Milan, powered by goals from Samuel Eto'o (31') and Mario Balotelli (64'), defeated FC Rubin Kazan 2-0 at home to lock up a berth in the Champions League's knockout stage and relegate the Russian club into the Europa League's round of 32. At Kiev, Ukraine:

Xavi Hernandez (33') and Lionel Messi (86', that's him celebrating) each tallied once as Barcelona came from behind to overcome Dynamo Kiev 2-1 on the road to lock up first place in Group F and close the book on the Ukrainian club's European campaign.
