At Seville, Spain:
Frederic Kanoute's successful penalty kick at 8 minutes (that's him celebrating) turned out to be the only goal of the match as Sevilla, already having locked up top spot in Group A, put the finishing touches on a dismal campaign for Rangers, defeating the visitors 1-0.

Sevilla and Stuttgart will play in the knockout stage of the Champions League while FC Unirea Urziceni will play in the Europa League's knockout stage. Rangers were eliminated form European competition.
