The national teams from three European countries qualified for the 2014 World Cup Finals on Friday.
At Belgrade, Serbia:
Christian Benteke (34'), Kevin De Bruyne (68'), and Kevin Mirallas (90'+1) each scored a goal as Belgium locked up the Group A title and a berth in next year's World Cup (their 12th appearance) with a 3-0 road domination of Serbia.
At Cologne, Germany:
Sami Khedira (12'), Andre Schurrle (58'), and Mesut Ozil (90'+2) each delivered a goal as Germany punched their tickets for Brazil (their 18th finals appearance) following their 3-0 home blanking of the Republic of Ireland as the hosts won Group C.
At Tirana, Albania:
Michael Lang scored the winning in the 79th minute as Switzerland clinched top spot in Group E and a berth in next year's World Cup, their tenth, with their 2-1 road win over Albania.
