At Rades, Tunisia:
Rooi Mahamutsa scored the series-winning goal in the 52nd minute on Saturday as Orlando Pirates gained a 1-1 game-two road draw with Esperance de Tunis and, with the aggregate score at 1-1, won their two-match CAF Champions League semifinal series on away goals.
The South African club will face the winner of the Al-Ahly-Coton Sport series (to be decided on Sunday in El Gouna, Egypt, with the aggregate score at 1-1) in the two-match final, which will start weekend after next at Johannesburg, South Africa.
This marks the first time since 2001 (when Mamelodi Sundowns lost 4-1 on aggregate to Al-Ahly) that a South African club had reached the final of this tournament. The Pirates delivered South Africa's only continental club championship when they defeated ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast 3-2 on aggregate back in 1995.
