UEFA Champions League: Juve And Galacticos Advance To Semifinals

Two matches were contested on Wednesday as the UEFA Champions League's quarterfinal round concluded.

At Fontvieille, Monaco:

A 0-0 game-two road deadlock with AS Monaco was good enough for Juventus as the Italian club won their two-game series 1-0 on aggregate.  Here, we see Juve's Giorgio Chiellini in pursuit of Monaco's Anthony Martial and the ball.

At Madrid:

Javier Hernandez (that's him celebrating here) scored the only goal of both the match and series in the 88th minute as Real Madrid defeated visiting Atletico Madrid 1-0 in both game two and on aggregate for their two-match series.
