Two Group D games were contested on Tuesday, the opening day of UEFA Champions League group-stage action.
At Manchester, England:
Alvaro Morata (that's him celebrating with teammate Mario Mandzukic) scored the winning goal in the 81st minute as Juventus came from behind to upend Manchester City 2-1 on the road.
At Seville, Spain:
Kevin Gameiro (PK-47', that's him celebrating after scoring), Ever Banega (PK-66'), and Yevhen Konoplyanka (84') delivered the goal power as Sevilla broke open what had been a scoreless stalemate at halftime and turned it into a 3-0 domination of visiting Borussia Monchengladbach.
