AFC Champions League: FC Seoul, Shandong Luneng, El Jaish, Advance To Quarterfinals

The AFC Champions League's Round of 16 concluded on Wednesday with four games.

WEST ZONE:

At Doha, Qatar:

Despite dropping a 4-2 game-two home decision to Lekhwiya, fellow Qatari club El Jaish won their two-game series 6-4 on aggregate.

At Isfahan, Iran:

Lee Myung-joo (12') and Danilo Asprilla (62') delivered the goals as Al-Ain blanked Zob Ahan 2-0 on the road in game two and eliminated the Iranian club 3-1 on aggregate.


EAST ZONE:

At Seoul, South Korea:

After FC Seoul took game two 1-0 in regulation, and after each club scored twice during overtime, Carlos Adriano de Sousa Cruz, Park Chu-young, Kim Won-sik, Go Yo-sik, Park Yong-woo, Ko Kwang-min, and Kim Dong-woo all converted their spot kicks as the hosts defeated the visiting Urawa Red Diamonds 7-6 in the penalty-kick shootout.

At Sydney, Australia:

Walter Montillo (12') and Hao Junmin (90') each scored a goal as Shandong Luneng gained a 2-2 game-two road draw with Sydney FC, and with the aggregate score at 3-3, advanced on away goals.
