MLS: Rapids, Hoops, Caps, Quakes Grab Wednesday Wins; Galaxy And Union Draw

Five games were contested on Wednesday in Major League Soccer.

At Chester, Pennsylvania:

Robbie Rogers (15') and Mike Magee (47') each scored once to lift the Los Angeles Galaxy to a 2-2 road draw with the Philadelphia Union.  Vincent Nogueira (4') and Keegan Rosenberry (63') delivered the goals for the hosts.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Dillon Serna scored the lone goal of the match in the 78th minute as the Colorado Rapids defeated visiting Sporting Kansas City 1-0.

At Frisco, Texas:

Ryan Hollingshead (55') and Walker Zimmerman (57') each scored a second-half goal two minutes apart as FC Dallas came from behind to upend the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Blas Perez scored twice (36', 89') as the Vancouver Whitecaps defeated the visiting Chicago Fire 2-1.

At San Jose, California:

Alberto Quintero had a hand in three goals, scoring twice (3', 70') and assisting on Anibal Godoy's game winner in the 50th minute as the San Jose Earthquakes downed the visiting, ten-man Houston Dynamo 3-1.
