Aleksandar Katai (48') and Guelor Kanga (66') each scored once as Red Star Belgrade gained a series-opening 2-2 road deadlock with Ludogorets Razgrad. Jonathan Cafu (43') and Claudiu Keseru (76') each delivered a goal for the Bulgarian club.
At Elbasan, Albania:
Jonathan Soriano's successfully-converted 70th-minute penalty kick lifted FC Red Bull Salzburg to a 1-0 series-opening road victory over Partizani Tirana.
At Amsterdam, Netherlands:
Kasper Dolberg's goal in the 58th minute enabled Ajax Amsterdam to salvage a series-opening 1-1 home draw with PAOK FC. Djalma Campos scored for the Greek club in the 27th minute.
At Prague, Czech Republic:
Nicolae Stanciu's goal in the 75th minute lifted Steaua Bucharest to a series-opening 1-1 road draw with Sparta Prague. Josef Sural scored in the 35th minute for the hosts.
At Lviv, Ukraine:
