AFC Asian Cup: Iran, Iraq, Saudis Advance To Knockout Stage

Three more group-stage games were contested in the AFC Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday.

GROUP D:

At Abu Dhabi:

Sardar Azmoth scored twice (38', 69') as Iran blanked Vietnam 2-0 to advance to the knockout stage.

At Sharjah:

Mohanad Ali (11'), Bashar Resan (19'), and Alaa Abbas (90'+1) each scored once as Iraq secured a berth in the knockout stage by dominting Yemen 3-0.
