Boualem Khoukhi (22'), Almoez Ali (37'), Hassan Al-Haydos (80'), and Hamid Ismail (90'+3) each scored once on Tuesday as Qatar demolished the United Arab Emirates 4-0 in semifinal-round action in the AFC Asian Cup.
The Maroons will face off against Japan in Friday's final, to be contested at Abu Dhabi's Zayed Sports City Stadium.
The winner would qualify for the 2021 FIFA Confederations Cup, set to be staged in Qatar (still set to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup).
