Jonas Wind scored twice (4', PK-53') while Rasmus Falk added another goal (62') as FC Copenhagen overcame their series-opening defeat and dominated visiting Istanbul Basaksehir 3-0 in game two and won their series 3-1 on aggregate.
At Kiev, Ukraine (due to war-like conditions in eastern Ukraine):
Junior Morales scored twice in the final minutes (89', 90'+3) as Shakhtar Donetsk broke open a scoreless stalemate and belted visiting VfL Wolfsburg 3-0 in game two and took out the German club 5-1 on aggregate.
At Duisburg, Germany:
Romelu Lukaku (33') and Christian Eriksen (83') each scored once as Inter Milan defeated Getafe 2-0 to advance to the quarterfinal round as this series was reduced to one single neutral-site contest.
At Manchester, England:
Jesse Lingard (57') and Anthony Martial (88') delivered the goals as Manchester United defeated visiting LASK 2-1 in game two and completed their two-match beatdown of the Austrian club 7-1 on aggregate.
