In their first home match at Soldier Field since 2005, the Chicago Fire, with Fabian Herbers (2'), Alvaro Medran (10'), and Ignacio Aliseda (67') each scoring once as the Chicago Fire scorched visiting FC Cincinnati 3-0.
At Chester, Pennsylvania:
Kacper Przybylko scored the only goal of the match in the 31st minute as the Philadelphia Union defeated the visiting New York Red Bulls 1-0.
At Montreal:
Romell Quioto (18') and Lassi Lappalainen (40') each scored once as the Montreal Impact blanked the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0.
At Kansas City, Kansas:
Darwin Quintero scored twice (57', 61') as the Houston Dynamo overpowered Sporting Kansas City 5-2 on the road.
