Two games were contested on Sunday in Major League Soccer.

At Nashville, Tennessee:

In the first meeting of first-year expansion clubs, Anibal Godoy scored the winning goal in the 53rd minute as Nashville defeated visiting Inter Miami 1-0.

At Seattle:

Jordan Morris scored twice (48', 49') in the span of a minute early in the second half as the Seattle Sounders upended the visiting Los Angeles Football Club 3-1.
