At Turin, Italy:
Goals from Hans-Jorg Butt (PK-30'), Ivica Olic (52'), Mario Gomez (83'), and Anatoliy Tymoshchuk (90'+2) powered Bayern Munich to an overpowering 4-1 road win over Juventus to lock up a berth in the knockout stage. Happy Bayern players are seen here celebrating their big win.
At Ramat Gan, Israel:
Jussie provided the game's lone goal at 13 minutes (he's seen here celebrating) as
Bordeaux blanked Maccabi Haifa on the road 1-0.

The second half of group stage play in the UEFA Champions League got under way on Tuesday with eight games, including two in Group A.
At Munich:
Goals courtesy of Yoann Gourcuff (37', he's seen here) and Marouane Chamakh (90') guided Bordeaux to a 2-0 road win over Bayern Munich, sending the French club into the Round of 16.
At Ramat Gan, Israel:
Mauro Camoranesi scored the only goal of the match (45'+2, he's picuted here celebrating with teammates) as Juventus defeated Maccabi Haifa 1-0 on the road, eliminating the Israeli club from the tournament.
