Mexican Clausura Playoffs: Tigres and Santos Laguna Battle To 1-1 Semifinal Series-Opening Draw
At San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico:
Lucas Lobos' equalizer in the 69th minute on Thursday enabled Tigres to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Santos Laguna in the opening contest of their Mexican Primera Division Clausura playoffs semifinal series. Jorge Estrada scored for the visitors in the 62nd minute. Santos will host the second match on Sunday at Torreon. The winners will take on the Monterrey-Club America winner in the two-match final.

Two games were played on Sunday as the quarterfinal round of the Mexican Primera Division Clausura playoffs concluded.
At Torreon, Mexico:
Carlos Quintero (15') and Oribe Peralta (37') each scored a goal as Santos Laguna took game two at home, 2-1 over Jaguares, and won their two-match series 6-4 on aggregate.
At Morelia, Mexico:
Hugo Ayala (64'), Lucas Lobos (74'), Edno (76'), and Elias Hernandez (90'+1) each delivered a goal as Tigres dominated Morelia 4-1 on the road in game two and won their two-match series 5-1 on aggregate.
At Torreon, Mexico:

Mexican Premiera Clausura Playoffs: Monterrey, Club America Advance To Semifinals

Despite dropping a 1-0 home decision in game two with Pachuca, Club America still won their two-game series 3-2 on aggregate.
At Monterrey, Mexico:
Goals from Cesar Delgado (44') and Jose Basanta (65') carried Monterrey to a 2-2 game-two home draw with Club Tijuana, good enough for the Striped Gang to win their two-match series 4-3 on aggregate.
At Mexico City:

At Tijuana, Mexico:
Jesus Zavala (29') and Angel Reyna (50') each scored a goal as Monterrey defeated Club Tijuana 2-1 on the road in their series opener.
THURSDAY GAMES:
At Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico:
Daniel Luduena scored twice (25', 60') while Carlos Quintero scored the game winner deep into second-half stoppage time (90'+6) as Santos Laguna defeated Jaguares 4-3 on the road in the opening contest of their two-game series.
