MLS: Late Goal Lifts Sounders; Dynamo Dominate Goats; DC United Still Winless; Galaxy Still Unbeaten

Six games were played in Major League Soccer on Saturday.

At Seattle:

Michael Fucito scored the only goal of the match in second-half stoppage time (90'+2) as Seattle Sounders FC defeated the visiting Kansas City Wizards 1-0.

At Houston:

Geoff Cameron (12'), Lovel Palmer (20'), and Dominic Oduro (64') each scored a goal as the Houston Dynamo dominated visiting Chivas USA 3-0.

At Washington:

Marco Pappa (80') and Brian McBride (90') provided the scoring late in the second half as the Chicago Fire won for the first time this season, keeping DC United winless with a 2-0 road triumph.


At Harrison, New Jersey:


Juan Pablo Angel doubled (56', PK-90') as the New York Red Bulls defeated visiting FC Dallas 2-1.


At Santa Clara, California:

The San Jose Earthquakes blanked the visiting New England Revolution 2-0.  Chris Wondolowski (57') and Ike Opara (71') each scored once for the Quakes.


At Carson, California:

The Los Angeles Galaxy avenged last year's MLS Cup defeat by defeating Real Salt Lake 2-1 at home.  Edson Buddle (11', 76') provided both Galaxy goals.
