2010 FIFA World Cup, Group D: Black Stars and Ten-Man Socceroos Battle To 1-1 Draw

One game in Group D was contested Saturday at the World Cup in South Africa.

At Rustenburg:

Ghana came from behind to move into sole possession of first place in Group D with a 1-1 stalemate with Australia.  The Socceroos took the early lead when Brett Holman scored in the 11th minute.  However, after Harry Kewell was ejected via a red card after committing a handball foul in their own penalty area, Asamoah Gyan equalized in the 25th minute for the Black Stars with his successful penalty kick.  Pictured here is Harry (left) along with teammate Craig Moore pleading their case with referee Roberto Rosetti in this photo from Robert Cianflone for Getty Images.
