Europa League Qualifying

The 33 remaining two-game series from the opening round of qualifying for next season's Europa League concluded on Thursday.


At Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan:


Bartosz Slusarski scored in the 13 minute as Lech Poznan gained a 1-1 game-two road draw with FC Zhetsyu and won their two-game series 3-1 on aggregate.


At Almaty, Kazakhstan:


A 0-0 home draw in game two with Jagodina proved good enough for Ordabasy as the hosts won their two-match series 1-0 on aggregate.


At Gyumri, Armenia:


Dame Diop scored in the 14th minute as Shirak FC drew with visiting Rudar Pljevlja 1-1 in game two and took out the Montenegrin club 2-1 on aggregate.


At Tbilisi, Georgia:


Giorgi Tekturmanidze (14', 19') and Dimitri Tatanashvilli (37', 69') each scored twice as Metalurgi Rustavi scorched visiting Teuta Durres 6-1 in game two and finished their two-game annihilation of the Albanian club 9-1 on aggregate.


At Aktobe, Kazakhstan:


Marat Bikmaev scored the game----and series-winning----goal in the 75th minute as FC Aktobe won game two 1-0 over visiting Torpedo Kutaisi and took out their Georgian opponents 2-1 on aggregate.


At Kumanovo, Macedonia:


A 0-0 home draw with Birkirkira proved good enough for FK Metalurg Skopje and the Macedonian club, with the score at 2-2 on aggregate, advanced on away goals.


At Yerevan, Armenia:


With Hayrapet Avagysn (67') and Diego Lomba (73') providing the scoring, Gandazar FC recovered from their 3-1 defeat in the Faroe Islands from last week with their 2-0 home win in game two with EB/Streymur, enabling the Armenian club, with the aggregate score at 3-3, to advance on away goals.


At Niksic, Montenegro:


Marco Milic committed a major blunder with his 53rd-minute own goal as Celik Niksic gained a 1-1 home draw with Borac Banja Luka, enabling the hosts, with the aggregate score at 3-3 on aggregate, to advance thanks to the away-goals rule.


At Baku, Azerbaijan:


Thanks to goals delivered by Slavco Georgievski (22') and Nizami Hajiyev (86'), Inter Baku
blanked visiting Narva Trans 2-0 in game two and finished their two-match beatdown of the Estonian club 7-0 on aggregate.


At Siauliai, Lithuania:


Artur Rattel scored the series-winning goal in the 76th minute as FC Levadia Tallinn, despite dropping a 2-1 game-two decision on the road, still ousted hosts FK Siauliai on away goals (with the score at 2-2 on aggreagate).


At Daugavpils, Latvia:


Rafael Ledesma scored twice (45'+1, 84') as FK Suduva Marijampole held off FC Daugava 3-2 on the road in game two, and with the aggregate score at 3-3, advanced due to the away-goals rule.


At Gomel, Belarus:


Vadim Demidovich scored twice (49', 56') as FC Gomel manhandled visiting Vikingur 4-0 in game two and finished their two-match annihilation of their Faroese opponents 10-0 on aggregate.


At Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg:


Adnan Besic (25'), Sreten Stetenovic (38'), and Nik Omladic (66') each provided a goal as Olimpija Ljubljana scored a second straight 3-0 win over Jeunesse Esch, this time at home, and easily won their two-game series 6-0 on aggregate.


At Liepaja, Latvia:


With Vladimirs Kamess (1'), Valerijs Afanasjevs (72'), Genadijs Solonicins (PK-82'), and Vugars Askerovs (85') providing the goal power, FK Liepajas Metalurgs slugged visiting La Fiorita 4-0 in game two and took out the club from San Marino 6-0 on aggregate.


At Lahti, Finland:


Shutsa Nongotamba (25'), Ville Saxman (37'), Olajide Williams (44'), Riley O'Neill (47'), and David Opoku (70') each tallied once as MYPA mauled visiting Cefn Druids 5-0 in game two and took out the Welsh club by that same score on aggregate.


At Chisinau, Moldova:


After last week's scoreless draw in Wales, Oleg Molla scored twice within a three-minute space (29', 32') as FC Zimbru Chisinau held off visiting Bangor City 2-1 in game two and won their series by that same score on aggregate.


At Trondheim, Norway:


Peter Ankersen scored the only goal of the match in the 81st minute as Rosenborg blanked visiting Crusaders 1-0 in game two and won their two-match series 4-0 on aggregate.


At Kalmar, Sweden:


Erik Israelsson (10'), Nenad Djordjevic (16'), Abiola Dauda (38'), and Etrit Berisha (PK-90'+1) each tallied once as Kalmar FF easily overturned their 1-0 road defeat of last week with a 4-0 home fistbeating of visiting Cliftonville in game two and won their two-match series with the Northern Irish club 4-1 on aggregate.


At Baerum, Norway:


Jordi van Gelderen (45') and Mikko Innanen (51') each scored once as JJK, despite dropping a 3-2 game-two encounter with Staebek on the road, still won their two-game series 4-3 on aggregate.


At Senica, Slovakia:


Jan Kalabiska scored the game and series-winning goal in the 87th minute as FK Senica defeated visiting MTK 2-1 in game two and won their series 3-2 on aggregate.


At Torshavn, Faroe Islands:


Omar Er Rafik scored twice in the first half (14', 45') as FC Differdange 03 defeated NSI 3-0 for a second consecutive time, this time on the road, to win their two-match series 6-0 on aggregate.


At Paola, Malta:


Emir Hadzic scored twice during the first half-hour (13', 27') as FK Sarajevo gained a 4-4 game-two road draw with Hibernians and won their two-game series 9-6 on aggregate.


At Andorra la Vella, Andorra:


Willem Janssen (PK-19'), Peter Wisgerhof (29'), and Glynor Plet (34') each delivered a first-half score as FC Twente made short work once again of UE Santa Coloma, this time 3-0 on the road in game two as they handily finished off their Andorran hosts 9-0 on aggregate.


At Llanelli, Wales:


Aleksi Paananen scored in the 59th minute as KuPS gained a 1-1 road draw with Llanelli AFC in game two, enabling the Finnish club to win their two-match set 3-2 on aggregate.


At Vaduz, Liechtenstein:


Atli Gudnasson scored the only goal of the match in the 14th minute as FH Hafnardordur defeated USV Eschen/Mauren 1-0 on the road in game two and took Liechtenstein's lone entry in European club competition 3-1 on aggregate.


At Lendava, Slovenia:


Mate Eterovic (26') and Nusmir Falic (83') each scored once as ND Mura 05 shut out visiting FC Baku 2-0 in game two and won the series by that same score on aggregate.


At Osijek, Croatia:


With Zoran Kvrzic (28'), Antonio Perosevic (56'), and Vedran Jugovic (70') each tallying once, NK Osijek defeated visiting FC Santa Coloma 3-1 in game two and ousted the Andorran club 4-1 on aggregate.


At Celje, Slovenia:


Maxim Mihaliov scored the only goal of the match with his successful penalty kick in the 32nd minute as FC Dacia Chisinau racked up a second straight 1-0 win, this time on the road, to finish off NK Celje 2-0 on aggregate.


At Podgorica, Montenegro:


Despite a 2-1 home defeat in game two, FK Zeta, with Milos B. Radulovic scoring in the 16th minute, still won their two-match series with FC Pyunik 4-2 on aggregate.


At Serravalle, San Marino:


Boban Jancevski scored twice during a three-minute span in the second half (61', PK-64') as FK Renova registered a second straight 4-0 frontier-styled fistbeating against Libertas, this time on the road, to finish off the club from San Marino 8-0 on aggregate.


At Akureyri, Iceland:


Sigurdur Kristjansson's hat trick (36', 73', 90'+3) helped carried Thor to a 5-1 game-two home domination of Bohemians as the Icelandic club finished off their Irish guests 5-1 on aggregate.


At Budapest, Hungary:


Richard Vernes (45'+1) and Herve Tchami (57') provided the scoring that carried Honved to a 2-0 game-two blanking of visiting Flamurtari Vlore and a 3-0 aggregate win for the series.


At Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland:


After IBV's Matt Garner's equalizer in the 84th minute forced a 1-1 regulation draw in game two, forcing overtime, the hosts' Eythor Helgi Birgisson put the Icelandic club ahead with his 98th-minute tally, St. Patrick Athletic's Stephen O'Flynn scored the series winner in the 99th minute as the Irish club, with the score at 2-2, advanced on away goals.
