UEFA Champions League, Group F: Valencia Too Much For BATE; One Lone Goal Good Enough For Bayern

Action from Group F of the UEFA Champions League continued on Tuesday with two games:

At Minsk, Belarus:

BATE Borisov's Dmitri Likhtarovich (L) fights for the ball with Valencia's Aly Cissokho during their Champions League Group F match

Roberto Soldado's hat trick (PK-45'+1, 55', 69) proved to be all the scoring as Valencia brought FC BATE Borisov back to earth with a 3-0 beatdown on the road. Here, we see BATE's Dmitri Likhtarovich (in the blue uniform) battle Valencia's Aly Cissokho for the ball.

At Villeneuve d'Ascq, France:

Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller reacts after scoring against Lille during their Champion's League Group F soccer match at the Lille Grand Stade stadium in Villeneuve d'Ascq

Thomas Muller's 20th-minute penalty kick (that's him celebrating) was the lone goal of Bayern Munich's 1-0 road win over Lille.
