Chin Hormechea scored twice (58', 81') as Arabe Unido dominated visiting Arnett Gardens of Jamaica 3-0 in their series-opening contest.
At Tegucigalpa, Honduras:
Kevin Lopez (47') and Matias Galvaliz (78') each scored a second-half goal as Motagua opened their series with Belmopan Bandits by blanking the visiting club from Belize 2-0.
At San Salvador, El Salvador:
Guillermo Stradella scored the winning goal in the 80th minute as FAS defeated visiting Perez Zeledon (Costa Rica) 2-1 in their series opener.
