At Kiev, Ukraine, with their scheduled home match transferred from Israel due to the Israeli-Hezbollah conflict, Maccabi Haifa FC gave five time European champ Liverpool all they could handle before the two teams' second match ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday, thus allowing the Reds to advance to the Group Stage in the 2006-07 UEFA Champions League on an aggregate of 3-2.
