Shakhtar Finishes Off Legia
At Warsaw, Poland, three first half goals, including two by Ciprian Marica, paced FC Shakhtar Donetsk to a 3-2 win over homestanding Legia Warsaw Wednesday, thus winning the two-game qualifying set 4-2. Thus, the Moles are off to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League while Legia will move on to the UEFA Cup. Details here.
