Broken Hearts

At Athens, Greece, Brazilian striker Julio Cesar scored twice to lead AEK Athens into the UEFA Champions League group stage, winning the Wednesday night match 3-0 and closing out Hearts (Heart of Midlothian FC) 5-1 on aggregate. For the broken-Hearted Jambos, it's on to the UEFA Cup. AEK joins fellow Athens club Olympiacos in the group stage. Details here.
