Celtic stretched their lead atop the SPL to 22 points with their 1-0 home win over Hibernian. Craig Beattie's goal at 54 minutes was the game's only score.
At Aberdeen:
Three different goal scorers enabled Aberdeen to clean visiting---and cellar-dwelling---Dunfermline's clock 3-0. Darren Mackie (33'), Barry Nicholson (PK-58'), and Steve Lovell (83') provided the tallies for the hosts, who now move to within one point of second place.
At Edinburgh:
Sub Michal Pospisil scored the lone goal (82') in Heart of Midlothian's 1-0 home triumph over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
At St. Mirren:
Barry Robson provided the lone tally (78') as Dundee United defeated hosts St. Mirren 1-0.
At Falkirk:
Second-half goals from Scott McDonald (66') and Darren Lee Smith (67') lifted visiting Motherwell to a 2-1 come-from-behind triumph over Falkirk.
