David Beckham paid big dividends in his first start for the Los Angeles Galaxy, scoring a goal (27') and assisting on Landon Donovan's tally (47') as the Galaxy defeated DC United 2-0 to reach the August 29th final of the North American SuperLiga. The Galaxy will face Mexican club, and current CONCAF Champions Cup holders Pachuca.
