UCL Group E: Bayern Get Close Win; Basel Top Roma On Road

Group stage action in the UEFA Champions League resumed with eight games on Tuesday, two of them in Group E.

At Rome:

Alexander Frei (12', that's him celebrating), Samuel Inkoom (44'), and Cabral (90') provided the scoring the carried FC Basel to a 3-1 road win over AS Roma.

Own goals from Ricardo Cadu (32') and Cristian Panin (37', pictured above), along with what proved to be the game winner from Mario Gomez (77') lifted Bayern Munich to a 3-2 home win over CFR Cluj.
