Seven games were played on Saturday as the CAF Champions League's Round of 32 began its' second weekend.
At Luanda, Angola:
After winning the second contest at home, 2-0 (thanks to Manucho Barros at 15 minutes and Pedro Henriques with his successful penalty kick at 40')over visiting Al-Merreikh (deadlocking the series 2-2 on aggregate), Inter Luanda won the penalty kick shootout 3-2 to advance to the Round of 16.
At Bamako, Mali:
Moussa N'Diaye scored at 72 minutes as ASC Diaraf gained a 1-1 road draw in game two with Djoliba AC, more than enough for the Senegalese club to win their two-game series 4-1 on aggregate.
At Casablanca, Morocco:
A goal at 40 minutes from Mamadou Baila Traore proved vital as Raja Casablanca defeated visiting Stade Malien 1-0 in game two, and , with the score at 2-2 on aggregate for the two games, won the series on away goals.
At Cairo, Egypt:
With the score in game two at 2-1 in favor of hosts Zamalek, and with their two-game deficit against Club Africain at 5-4 on aggregate, Zamalek fans--in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time-- invaded the pitch after a goal that would have tied the series at 5-5 (with the hosts getting the advantage due to the away goals rule) was disallowed, causing the match to be abandoned. The Tunisian club advanced to the Round of 16. Wissem Ben Yahya scored what may have proven to be the series-winning goal for Club Africain at 58 minutes.
At Huambo, Angola:
A 1-1 draw on the road in game two versus Recreativo Caata was enough for Al-Hilal to win their two-game series 3-1 on aggregate. Edward Samdomba scored at 68 minutes from the club from Sudan.
At Polokwane, South Africa:
Despite dropping a 1-0 decision on the road in game two, six-time continental club champions Al-Ahly still took their two-game series with Supersport United 2-1 on aggregate.
At Manzini, Swaziland:
A 2-0 win on the road in game two completed ZESCO United's two-game domination of Young Buffaloes 7-0 on aggregate.
