FC Platinum from Zimbabwe doubled up home-standing Green Mamba FC 4-2 in match one of the clubs' two-game series.
At Abidjan, Ivory Coast:
AFAD took the opening match of their series with Diables Noirs (Congo) 1-0 at home.
At Malabo, Equatorial Guinea:
Nigeria's Dolphin FC took command of their two-game series with Sony De Ela Nguema, winning the opening contest 3-0 on the road.
