Europa League: Olympiacos and Besiktas Take Series Openers On Road

The knockout stage of the Europa League commenced with the opening contests of two two-game series in the Round of 32.

At Moscow:

David Fuster scored the only goal of the match in the 72nd minute as Olympiacos defeated Rubin Kazan 1-0 on the road in game one of their two-match series.

At Braga, Portugal:



Tomas Sivok (37', shown here) and Simao Sabrosa (58') each scored once as Besiktas blanked defending champions FC Porto 2-0 on the road in their series opener.
