UEFA Champions League: FC Santa Coloma, Levadia Tallinn, HB Advance To Second Qualifying Round

The opening round of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League concluded on Tuesday with three games.

At Yerevan, Armenia:

Eloy Casals scored the series-winning goal deep into second-half stoppage time (90'+5) as FC Santa Coloma, despite dropping a 3-2 game-two decision on the road against FC Banants, still advanced on away goals, with the aggregate score at 3-3.  Next in store for the Colomencs, a two-match series with Maccabi Tel Aviv, with the opening contest set to be played in Israel next Tuesday.

At Tallinn, Estonia:

Igor Subbotin (30', 72') and Artjom Artjunin (75', 90'+1) each scored twice as Levadia Tallinn demolished visiting La Fiorita 7-0 in game two and took out the club from San Marino 8-0 on aggregate.  Levadia will take on Sparta Prague in a two-game series , with the opening match set for the Czech capital on Tuesday of next week.

At Torshavn, Faroe Islands:

Levi Hanssen scored twice (11', 81') as HB dominated visiting Lincoln Red Imps 5-2 in game two and ousted the club from Gibraltar 6-3 on aggregate. The Faroese club will take on Partizan Belgrade in a two-game series , with the opening match set for the Serbian capital on Tuesday of next week.
