At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Cristian Techera scored twice (PK-22', 70') as the Vancouver Whitecaps, who already locked up a berth in the knockout stage, dominated visiting Central FC 4-1.

Angel Lopez (19'), Aldo de Nigris (43'), and Josue Misael Dominguez (51') each scored once as Monterrey dominated visiting Don Bosco FC 3-0 in a battle of eliminated clubs.

Ricaurte Barsallo scored the only goal of the match in the 37th minute as Plaza Amador, already eliminated from the tournament, prevented Tigres from clinching a quarterfinal-round berth by knocking off the Mexican club 1-0 at home.
