Nick DeLeon scored twice (14', 39') as Toronto FC dominated the visiting Ottawa Fury of the USL Championship 3-0 in game two and won their series 5-0 on aggregate.
At Foothills County, Alberta:
Anthony Jackson-Hamel scored the only goal of the match in the 13th minute as the Montreal Impact knocked off Cavalry FC 1-0 on the road in game two and ousted the Canadian Premier League club 3-1 on aggregate.
The two-game final will open in Montreal on September 18, with the return contest to be played in Toronto on September 25. The winner would advance to next year's CONCACAF Champions League.

Canadian Championship: Reds, Impact Take Series Openers
The semifinal round of the Canadian Championship commenced with two games on Wednesday.
At Ottawa:
Drew Moor (30') and Tsubasa Endoh (90'+1) each scored once as Toronto FC blanked the Ottawa Fury of the USL Championship 2-0 on the road in the opening match of their two-game series.
At Montreal:
Ignacio Piatti scored twice (32', 49') as the Montreal Impact held off visiting Cavalry FC 2-1 in their series opener.
Sergio Camacho scored what might still be precious road goal for the Canadian Premier League club in the 69th minute.
At Ottawa:

Canadian Championship: Impact, Fury, Cavalry Advance To Semifinals
The third qualifying round of the Canadian Championship tournament concluded on Wednesday with three games.
At Ottawa:
Onua Obasi (45'+1) and Christiano Francois (66') each scored once as the Ottawa Fury gained a 2-2 game-two home draw with the HFX Wanderers and won their series with the CPL club 5-4 on aggregate.
At Montreal:
Ignacio Piatti converted a penalty kick in the 55th minute for the series-winning goal as the Montreal Impact defeated visiting York9 FC 1-0 and took out the CPL club from suburban Toronto 3-2 on aggregate.
At Vancouver, British Columbia:
Jordan Brown (7') and Dominick Zator (72') each scored once as Cavalry FC knocked off the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1 on the road in game two and eliminated the MLS club by that same score on aggregate. It was the first victory by a Canadian Premier League club over an MLS club.

Thiago scored twice (23', 35') and Maxime Tissot once (67') as the Ottawa Fury (USL Championship) knocked off the HFX Wanderers (Canadian Premier League) 3-2 on the road in the opening match of their two-game series.
At Toronto:
Omar Browne (62') and Saphir Taider (PK-90'+2) each scored once as the Montreal Impact gained a 2-2 series-opening road draw with York9 FC.
Ryan Telfer (83') and Rodrigo Gattas (88') each scored once for the home-standing CPL club.
At Foothills County, Alberta:
The opening contest between Cavalry FC (CPL) and the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps resulted in a 0-0 stalemate.

Canadian Championship: York9, Wanderers Advance
Two games were contested on Wednesday as the second qualifying round of the Canadian Championship came to a close.
All four teams are members of the Canadian Premier League.
At Winnipeg, Manitoba:
Mohamed Kourouma (58') and Andre Bona (90'+3) each scored once as the HFX Wanderers blanked Valor FC 2-0 on the road in game two and took out the Winnipeg-based club 4-1 on aggregate.
At Edmonton, Alberta:
Despite dropping a 1-0 game-two road decision to FC Edmonton, York9 still knocked out the Eddies 3-2 on aggregate.
All four teams are members of the Canadian Premier League.

Sergio Camargo scored the game and series-winning goal in the 58th minute on Tuesday as Cavalry FC defeated visiting Forge FC 2-1 in game two of their Canadian Championship series in the second qualifying round as the hosts won their two-game series with their fellow Canadian Premier League club 3-2 on aggregate.
The Cavalry will next face Major League Soccer's Vancouver Whitecaps in a two-game series set to open in Foothills County on July 10, with the return match set for July 24 in Vancouver.

Tomasz Skublak (39') and Mohamed Kourouma (41') each scored a goal two minutes apart as the HFX Wanderers came from behind to upend visiting Valour FC 2-1 in their series opener.
At Toronto:
Luca Gasparotto (28'), Rodrigo Gattas (31'), and Simon Adjei (51') each scored once as York9 FC held off visiting FC Edmonton 3-1 in the opening game of their series.

Emery Welshman scored for the hosts in the 48th minute.

The first qualifying round of the Canadian Championship tournament concluded last Tuesday (May 22) with three games.
At Halifax, Nova Scotia:
Despite dropping a 1-0 game-two home decision to Vaughan Azzurri (League 1 Ontario), the HFX Wanderers of the Canadian Premier League still won their series on away goals with the aggregate score at 3-3.
At Foothills County, Alberta:
Marcus Haber (OG-2') and Julian Buscher (67') produced the scoring as Cavalry FC defeated visiting Pacific FC 2-1 and won this all-CPL series 4-1 on aggregate.
Toronto:
Ryan Telfer scored the only goal of both the match and series in the 70th minute as the Canadian Premier League's York9 FC won both game two and the series on aggregate from visiting A.S. Blaineville of the Quebec Premier Soccer League 1-0.

The opening match between AS Blainville (Premier Soccer League of Quebec) and visiting York 9 FC (Canadian Premier League) ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
At Vaughan, Ontario:
