At Foxboro, Massachusetts:

Taylor Twellman score the only goal of the match at 64 minutes to lift the New England Revolution to 1-0 home win over the New York Red Bulls in game two of their Eastern Conference two-game, total goals semifinal series, and thus, winning the series 1-0 on aggregate.

At Carson, California:

By holding hosts Chivas USA to a 0-0 draw in game two, thanks to their earlier 1-0 home win, the Kansas City Wizards advanced to the Western Conference final with a 1-0 win on aggreate.
