UCL Group C: Galacticos And Rossoneri In Knockout Stage

Group C play in the UEFA Champions League concluded Tuesday.

At Zurich, Switerland:

Ronaldinho equalizer (PK-64') enabled AC Milan to seal a berth in the round of 16 with their 1-1 road deadlock with FC Zurich, who had a win and a draw again the Rossoneri, but no success otherwise, as the Swiss club's European campaign ended. That's Rugged Ronnie, celebrating with Alexandre Pato.

At Marseille, France:

Cristiano Ronaldo doubled (5', 80') as Real Madrid secured safe passage top the knockout stage with a 3-1 road win over Marseille, relegating the French club into the Europa League.
