AFC Champions League, MatchDay #2, Continued

Matchday #2 in the group stage of the AFC Champions League concluded on Wednesday.

Group C:

At Tashkent, Uzbekistan:


Flavio Amado's double (63', 73') helped carry Al-Shabab to a 3-1 road win over Pakhtakor Tashkent.


At Isfahan, Iran:


Al-Ain FC held hosts Sepahan FC to a 0-0 deadlock.

At Dubai, United Arab Emirates:


Leandro's hat trick (44', 45', 76') was instrumental as Al-Sadd made things really sad for Al-Ahli as the visitors annihilated the hosts 5-0.


At Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:


Christian Wilhelmsson (3'), Osama Hawsawi (14'), and Yasser Al Qahtani (81') each tallied once as Al-Hilal held off visiting Mes Kerman FC 3-1.

Lucas Severino's penalty kick at 35 minutes enabled Gamba Osaka to salvage a 1-1 home stalemate with  Henan Construction.


At Singapore:


Juninho (45'+1) and Jose Robert Rodrigues Mota (73') each scored once as Suwon Samsung Bluewings blanked Singapore Armed Forces FC on the road, 2-0.

At Jinan, China:


Adelaide United remained unbeaten and untied in group stage play as they defeated Shandong Luneng 2-0 on the road.  Serginho van Dijk (27') and Mathew Leckie (70') each scored a goal for the visiting Reds.


At Pohang, South Korea:


Pohang Steelers got back on the winning track as they defeated visiting Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2-1.  Hwang Jae-Won (54') and Almir Lopes de Luna (90'+2) scored for the defending champions.
