OFC Champions League: A Win For Amicale; Kiwi Clubs Draw On Road

Here's a rundown of the weekend's play in the OFC Champions League's group stage.

Group A:

At Port Vila, Vanuatu:

Fenedy Masauvakalo scored both goals (15', 40') as Amicale blanked visiting Koloale 2-0 on Saturday.

Because of PRK Hekari United's upcoming participation in this month's FIFA Club World Cup, their match with Lautoka FC in Fiji, scheduled for Saturday, was postponed until January 15. 

Group B:

At Faaa, Tahiti, French Polynesia:

 Angel Berlanga's equalizer at 90 minutes lifted Auckland City to a 1-1 Friday road stalemate with AS Tefana.  Tetiamana Marmouyet scored at 52 minutes for the Tahitian club.

At Noumea, New Caledonia:

Francis Watrone scored at 77 minutes on Saturday to salvage a 1-1 home draw for AS Magenta in their match with Waitakere United.  Allan Pierce scored for the visiting club from New Zealand at 70 minutes.

GROUP B STANDINGS:

2. Waitakere United (GP: 3; GD: +2: PTS: 5)
3. AS Magenta (GP: 3; GD: -2; PTS: 4)
