This year's edition of the African Nations Cup got underway on Saturday with two games, both played in Group A and in Bata, Equatorial Guinea.
Equatorial Guinea and Gabon are the host nations.
In the opener, Javier Balboa scored the only goal of the match as Equatorial Guinea defeated Libya 1-0.
In the nightcap, Emmanuel Mayuka (12') and Rainford Kalaba (20') provided the scoring as Zambia held off Senegal 2-1.
