UEFA Champions League, Group G: Dragons Roast Foxes, Advance To Knockout Stage; Lions Settle For Europa League Berth After Road Win

Two Wednesday were contested as Group G action in the UEFA Champions League ended.

At Bruges, Belgium:

Brandon Mechele (OG-8') and Mathias Jorgensen (15') each scored a goal as FC Copenhagen blanked Club Brugge 2-0 on the road.  With FC Porto's dismembering of Leicester City, though, the Lions' hope of advancing to the Champions League knockout stage died.  The Danish club, however, will play in the knockout stage of the Europa League.  In the above photo, here's the Lions' Peter Ankersen going up against the Belgian club's Claudemir.
