Ajax Amsterdam bounced back from last Sunday's 2-1 setback at Alkmaar to top AZ Alkmaar 3-0 on Sunday before the home fans to win the two-game playoff for the Champions League qualifying berth 4-2 on aggregate. Johnny Heitinga (55'), Ryan Donk (OG-58'), and Gabri Garcia (90') provided the scoring. AZ gets the consolation prize of a UEFA Cup berth.
