Real Madrid, 10-Man Barca Win Key Games; Yellow Submarine Knock Valencia Out Of Title Race

Three games were contested Saturday in Spain's Premiera Liga:

At Madrid:

Sergia Ramos (29'), Raul (58'), and Ruud van Nistelrooy (75') provided the goals that lifted league-leading Real Madrid to a 3-1 home win over Deportivo La Coruna.

At Barcelona:

Ronadinho's goal at 2 minutes held up as Barcelona kept pace with Real Madrid as the hosts defeated Getafe 1-0, in spite of the aforementioned Ronnie getting red-carded out of the game late in the first half.

At Valencia:

Diego Forlan scored twice (35', 87') and Jon Dahl Tomasson once (79') as Villarreal knocked Valencia out of the La Liga title race, and moved past Atletico Madrid into a UEFA Cup berth with their 3-2 road win.
