Carlos Lopez's successful penalty kick (90') lifted the Kansas City Wizards to a 2-2 home stalemate with DC United, effectively condemning the visitors to a second straight season without a playoff appearance.

At Carson, California:

Landon Donovan's insurance goal at 77 minutes sealed the Western Conference regular-season title for the Los Angeles Galaxy as they blanked the visiting San Jose Earthquakes 2-0.

At Seattle:

Nate Jaqua (61') and Brad Evans (84') provided the goalpower in the second half as Seattle Sounders FC erased a one-goal halftime deficit and defeated visiting FC Dallas 2-1. With that defeat, the Hoops were finally eliminated from playoff contention.
