Copa Libertadores: Road Win For Santos; Club Olimpia Erase Three-Goal Deficit To Gain Road Draw

Thursday marked the midway point of Copa Libertadores group-stage action with two games.


Group One:


At Chiclayo, Peru:


Jorge Fucile (35'), Paulo Ganso (39'), and Humberlito Borges (68') each scored a goal as Santos defeated Juan Aurich 3-1 on the road.

Group Two:


At Rio de Janeiro:


Pablo Zeballos (76'), Luis Caballero (84'), and Vladimir Marin (88') each scored a goal in the final quarter hour of regular time as Club Olimpia came back from three goals down to gain a 3-3 road draw with Flamengo.  Dario Bottinelli (37'), Ronaldinho (PK-56'), and Luis Antonio Moraes (63') each tallied once for the hosts.
